Why are my Program changes off in FreeMIDI when I
Due to FreeMIDI’s sensitivity to certain text formatting conversions, there was a patch naming error that causes Digital Performer to publish Unity Session’s patch list incorrectly. From the support page of the BitHeadz web site there is a file you can download that has been edited to correct the problem.
Note: If you republish your FreeMIDI Names text document you may need to edit the patch list to correct the offending patch name. This will be corrected in a forthcoming 3.0.1 release but for the moment, simply open the Unity text file in Microsoft Word or another Word Processor with can be found in the System folder > FreeMIDI folder > Default names folder > Unity and remove the quotations around the words “The Classic” then save the text file.I have a Serial Port adapter and a Serial MIDI interface, which I am using with Digital performer. Things work correctly when Unity is in Stand Alone Mode, but I don’t seem to be getting MIDI Patch Thru in Digital Performer.
Currently, our MAS Driver is not compatible with the above setup. We are looking into the issue and hope to find a resolution soon.
