Can all the inputs of the Fast Track Ultra be used at 96k or do they have to use a lower sample rate for all inputs to be used simultaneously?
The Fast Track Ultra is capable of FULL 24-bit 96kHz operation on ALL channels simultaneously (this is one of the major bullet points in all the marketing material and the box). In bus power mode you can still run at 96k but are limited to the first two inputs and outputs and the S/PDIF since there is not enough power on the USB bus to operate all the hardware (regardless of sample rate). The Fast Track Ultra is not 96k compatible in USB 1.1 mode, only in USB 2.0 mode.
