How can I get my Aark24 to stay at 24 bit for ASIO applications such as Cubase, Logic, and Reason on Windows 98 / ME?
Version 5.14 drivers sometimes have a problem resetting the bit depth to 16 bit in ASIO applications such as Cubase, Logic, and Reason. The workaround is to open your Aark control panel before entering the ASIO application, and make sure it is set to 24 bit recording. This will keep the bit depth at 24 bit as long as the control panel is open. Sweetwater Tech Support also has a file which should correct this problem. Simply send an email or call our support and we can email you the file. The newest drivers for Aardvark (due out soon) should correct this problem.
