My Aardvark Aark24 on playback randomly swaps channels or produces blasts of noise. What can I do?
This is an uncommon but known bug in the driver software. A patch is available by contacting Aardvark or Sweetwater tech support. The patch is Aarkplus.arc and the file should be copied to the C:\Windows\System folder, replacing the original Aarkplus.arc file. Reboot after replacing this, and the problem should be solved. This patch is unofficially titled the “channel swap / blasts of noise patch”.
