Can the 192io use a slower sample rate as a word clock source while recording at a higher sample rate?
The 192io is able to reference slower sample rates only in very specific combinations:
– A session sample rate of 88.2 KHz can reference a 44.1 kHz word clock source.
– A session sample rate of 96 KHz can reference a 48 kHz word clock source.
– A session sample rate of 176.4 KHz can reference a 44.1 kHz word clock source.
– A session sample rate of 192 KHz can reference a 48 kHz word clock source.
The 192io will automatically detect a sample rate when it fits one of the above combinations. Each of the above session sample rates can, of course, reference a matching clock source (e.g. – 192 kHz can ref 192kHz)
