Dave Smith Instruments

In 1977, Dave Smith's Sequential Circuits introduced the revolutionary Prophet-5 synthesizer - one of the world's first polyphonic and programmable synths. Not only did the Prophet-5 shape countless popular recordings immediately upon its release, it's still one of the most modeled synthesizers ever. Engineer Dave Smith of Dave Smith Instruments also played a tremendous part in the development of the groundbreaking MIDI protocol that's since advanced and forever changed the music technology industry. Still an innovator of some of the most potent synths in the world, expect the best from Dave Smith Instruments.
