Need Big Tone?

When only the fat, warm sound of a 15" speaker will get the job done, we highly recommend the SVT-15E. Armed with a massive five-pound magnet, the SVT-15E's custom-designed 15" speaker generates chest-thumping low end like nobody's business-all the way down to 33Hz. Team it up with the SVT-CL head and maybe an SVT-12HE, for top-end, and you're guaranteed to get the dance floor moving.

Ampeg SVT-15E Features:
  • 1/4" and Neutrik Speakon Jacks
  • Baltic Birch Plywood

Well some folks swear that you shouldn't mix different speaker sizes on your bass rig. I say those people are smoking. Cuz I was loving the sound of the Ampeg 410-HE...but when I added this it took it to a whole other level. These two cabinets are amazing together. What this 115 adds is a warm & silky sweet like molasses undertone. The 410, and many smaller rigs put out good sound you can hear, but this puts out the vibration you can really feel deep in your body. It's pure sonic medicine. I love the feeling of playing this so much that it's gonna take a major event to get me to drop this as part of my ensemble. Fills the room with a vibe sweet like honey and heavy like a hammer. I've just not heard that from the few other rigs I've played on. Now I just need an SVT head, which I've yet to afford, so I'll settle for my Hartke 5500 till I can pinch enough pennies to get the real deal. Or maybe I'll start turning tricks again. Sike. You know what I mean. Pure silk molasses honey groove hammer on the Ampeg 115 410 SVT trip, and this puzzle piece ain't one to lose, nah mean!?
