A Spring Reverb Tank for the Digital Age
Emulating the coveted sound of vintage spring reverb tanks, Solid State Logic’s Springverb plug-in adds analog warmth and springy 'verb to your digital workflow. Inside, you’ll find three different tank styles, each inspired by classic designs, along with a range of controls tailored for modern setups. The extensive controls enable precise adjustments of crucial reverb parameters, such as the number of springs, tension, decay length, and stereo width. Moreover, built-in ducking and a Pre-Delay control help prevent signal masking, Damp knobs shape high and low frequencies, and Drive adds saturation and coloration to your reverb tone. A comprehensive output section allows you to maintain consistent levels when switching presets, with Gain and Mix knobs providing precise control over the plug-in's influence. From vintage surf vibes to galactic echoes, the Springverb plug-in delivers all the spacious sonics you need to create distinct textures, emotive moods, and emboldened 'verb bounce, straight from your DAW.

Shape your vintage tank
The Springverb plug-in blends the best qualities of vintage spring reverb into a single, customizable digital tank. Favored by many Sweetwater producers, musicians, and creators, the A, B, and C style tanks each provide a unique tonal flavor, including space-age echoes, a classic rack mount, and a Dub model inspired by the unit King Tubby and Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry preferred.
Choose between single, double, and triple spring tones, and set the tension for a faster, controlled sound or a bouncy twang. Use Time to control the decay length with Sync to lock tempo-based values, Freeze to stop new input and create an infinite tail, and Kill to cut all input for a natural spring fade. Monitor everything with the interactive tank, which features springs that change in real time based on your adjustments. This intelligent UI is also equipped with a reactive Boing effect that can be triggered by a button or by clicking the tank, with a control to adjust the strength.

Modern control of a classic effect
Spring reverb is known for adding warmth to your tone by naturally emphasizing mid and high frequencies, but it can quickly overpower a mix and drown out a signal. Springverb addresses this issue with a comprehensive set of tools that allow for shaping the effect via various parameters. The Input section provides not only a gain control for the input level but also a pre-delay that adjusts the dry signal before the reverb, preventing signal masking and even priming your tank for rhythmic slapback effects. The Drive section manages saturation, ensuring signal integrity, while the Damp section shapes high- and low-frequency signals. Finally, the Output section provides control over the wet/dry mix, a Gain control to set the output level, and a Lock function to maintain consistency across presets.
