For starters, the pedal is built like a tank and looks and feels like a Dunlop/Vox wah. It is incredibly sturdy and has rubber feet that gorilla grip the floor, keeping it steady and virtually locked in place.Because it is designed for Helix, it is basically plug and play and requires only a single TRS cable to enable the pedal's dual switch design (other exp pedals require an extra Y cable for dual switch function). And functionally, it does exactly what I wanted: Provides precision foot control over volume, nails a variety of wah sounds at the ready, and rides the pitch effects without getting thrown off. These are the basics that are sort of built in to the pedal's plug and play functionality. The possibilities offered by setting it up to control parameters of the extended family of effects in the Helix are endless, and I have yet to step foot into that infinite realm.

Very pleased to add this to my HX Stomp rig. Many possibilities that I have not yet even had time to explore with this expression pedal addition due to the flexibility of the HX Stomp. Does what its supposed to do. Solid construction.

Always used a wah pedal beginning in the early 80's so its a part of my sound for most of the music I play.
This unit is so quiet and works flawlessly with the Stomp I plugged it up with balanced cable it was ready to go. This expression pedal does so much more than just a wah its being used as a parameter sweep a volume pedal, up and down switching for effects and snapshots, yeah just amazing should have gotten it when I bought the HX Stomp!

I love how I can program it to control just about anything on my helix! It's very well built as well a must have in your arsenal
