If you're a guitar player who wants to get into some new ways to manipulate the tone of your amplifier, you know how important pedals and effects are. Sweetwater carries a number of accessories to boost your sound and help you get the most out of your talent, whether you need a spare part for your current pedals or want to tweak the performance a bit. Not sure what you're looking for? No problem - we're here to help.

One of the main pedal & effects accessories are power supplies. There are different types for different needs, so what you select can depend on factors such as the number of pedals you have and the power they require. When selecting power units, make sure to pay attention to voltage, current and polarity. You also need to decide on how many isolated outputs you need before buying a power supply. Power adapters are also a smart accessory for anyone who's regularly on tour.

Got your power sorted out? Great! Now you need some cables. To know which cables you might need and what length they need to be, you first need to know how your pedalboard is laid out. If you have pedals from the same brand, you might only need direct couplers. When selecting patch cables, be aware that the longer the cable is, the more degraded your tone becomes. Tone loss from inexpensive cables is fine for amateurs but might be a problem for professionals. Use a noise suppressor to reduce noise in your sound.

Want to keep your equipment safe and protected? Sweetwater offers a great selection of protective bags that make travel easier and ward off dirt, dust and damage. We also have a range of backpacks which make carrying pedals and effects easy for musicians on the road.

There are still more pedal & effects accessories to choose from. Hey, it's important to have options, right?. Depending on how you want to set up your equipment, you might also need pedal fasteners, boosters, buffers, controllers, cradles, or junction boxes. You might need all of these, or just a few items, depending on what you have in mind for your music.
