This is an amazing guitar for the price. Had to spend another $50.00 to get it set up after I got it but it was well worth the price.

Great Guitar For The $$$

I received my vintage cherry SE Standard 24 a couple of weeks ago and have been very pleased with its looks and playability. After some "tweaking", action and intonation adjustments, its playing as good as some of my more expensive instruments. I'm quite pleased with the pickups. PRS guitars have a unique sound and this one is no different. With the coil split humbuckers, you really get a nice variety of tones. The only negatives to this guitar are the PRS "approved" machine heads and tremolo system. As mentioned in other reviews of this guitar, you can't get crazy with the whammy bar. I have some sporadic tuning issues when using the tremolo system rather mildly. Other than that, it's great. I have a couple of other foreign made guitars (Epiphone, Fender) in this price range and this one is the best! Very nice gig bag included! Don't waste time and gas going to the big guitar store. Call my man Josh Estock, ext. 1375 for all your gear needs. Sweetwater is the best!

PRS SE Standard 24

First of all, I cannot say enough good things about Sweetwater, they rock!. You guys are awesome! Okay, so this guitar is a great value with only a couple things that bug me. I have had this guitar for about 5 months now, maybe a little longer, it lacks a little in treble. That can be adjusted for with effects, the tuners are okay but not great. The threeway switch is in a funny location, but t hat just takes some getting used to. I hardly use the coil splitter at all, so I can't say much about it.Anyhow, real solid guitar, I am having a lot of fun with it.
