Conjure Up Huge Symphonic Swells!

Plug into the POG2 and get ready for everything from the surreal to the symphonic. This Polyphonic Octave Generator (thus POG) lets you take your original signal and mix in five polyphonic octave harmonics. Beyond that, the POG2 has an attack delay slider, so you can go harmonic in slow, smooth swells. Love the sound you just came up with? There's space to save eight presets and instantly recall any one of them at just the right moment. All in all, it's thick, it's lush, it's instrumental, and it's totally Electro-Harmonix. It's POG2.

Just What I Needed

For the last 8 months I have been trying to master the ambient possibilities for guitar. THIS PEDAL MAKES IT HAPPEN. Particularly it's "Attack" slider. The smooth and consistent swells produced with that function almost replace the volume pedal. I thought about being content with the smaller POG pedals but am super glad I went with the POG2. HUGE possibilities.

EH POG2 Octave Generator Pedal

I watched a YouTube rig rundown for Joe Satriani. He uses this pedal for the organ parts on Chickenfoot's version of Deep Purples "Highway Star". I was not disappointed as this pedal does a fantastic job in recreating organ sounds from guitar. Just add a little chorus or Leslie after the POG2 and you are there! There are a bunch of other tones waiting for you in this box as well. Awesome!

Beautiful Tones

This pedal gives beautiful Leslie-like organ tones and also serves as a great tool to provide beautiful harmony tones when you blend in the dry signal. The combinations are endless, so it's really nice you can have presets and not lose that special tone. I use this for my guitar as well as bass. All around a great pedal. Electro-Harmonix once again knocks it out of the park. Great pedal.

Very cool, very useful recording and live gig tool. Very easy to suss out and program. Like all EH stuff, well made and versitile. I was able to (very easily) program organ, cello, violin, 12 string guitar, bass guitar and synth sounds; and that was only the first hour of owning it. 8 presets available via the footswitch and controls that go from suble to "what the hell was that?" A must have for any pedal geek.

Awesome - REAL Organ sounds

I love this pedal. I have had it a few days and it far exceeds my expectations. The slider function is so much better than knobs, something they must have figured out with a pedal like this. Being able to save your newly sculpted sounds is great because you will totally forget how you got there with all the possibilities and excitement of making these new sounds. The right side, Attack, LP, and Detune is the icing for making the true hammond sounds, and even more beyond that. Dry FX and Q change things up nicely as you go through different versions of these. Endless and fun. Sounds that can be used live. I love it. No regrets. Plus, the best damn "Basic" octave pedal I have ever used.

Sweetwater Advice

Jason Filloramo

From the moment I heard what you can do with the Electro-Harmonix POG2, I had to have one. I've used mine for everything from creating ambient washes and violin-like guitar leads to dialing in sub-octave tones that let me fill in for the bass player. It's also great when I produce hip-hop and need to come up with ethereal soundscapes. As flexible as it is, my POG2 will always be in the center of my pedalboard.

Anthony Jenkins

I love the Electro-Harmonix POG 2 because it lets me dial in a variety of cool harmonic sounds simply, elegantly, and effectively. I'm impressed by how well it tracks single notes, and the effects section offers creative sonic possibilities that I can't get from any standard octave pedal.
