During the 1950s and 1960s, LANG earned renown for producing quality pro audio equipment and parts at affordable prices (much like Heritage Audio is today). The company’s most popular offering was arguably the PEQ-2 Program Equalizer, which still has many devotees even now. Unfortunately, LANG Electronics produced very few PEQ-2s, and the ones that still function are doggedly safeguarded by their owners. These days, you’re unlikely to find an original PEQ-2; even if you do, expect the seller to ask for an obscene amount of money. But, with the Heritage Audio LANG PEQ-2 reissue, that no longer matters.
