Solid All-purpose Vocal Reproduction

Sometimes you just need a microphone that doesn't get in the way. That's what the Electro-Voice ND76 is all about. This stage mic is a great starting point for male and female vocalists from any genre, pop to hip-hop, who want dependable performance at every venue. Performers will appreciate the ND76's crisp full-range frequency response, commanding presence, and high gain before feedback. And sound professionals will be pleased with its drop-weathering Memraflex grille and noise-rejecting internal shockmount. If you sing, speak, rap, or scream and need something a bit hotter and more modern than the standard, Sweetwater recommends the EV ND76.

The Electro-Voice ND series picks up where N/DYM left off

For years, EV's N/DYM series of live and studio dynamic microphones have been a beacon of hope to us low-enders and live-sounders. And now Electro-Voice promises to deliver even better performance with its EV ND collection. This line includes eight new vocal, drum, amp, and instrument mics to cover a wide range of stage and studio needs. Beneath the dent-resistant Memraflex grilles are redesigned large-diaphragm capsules with humbucking coils and internal shockmounts to capture a rich, musical sound with low noise - all on a budget. When you need dependable performance on a workingman's income, Sweetwater sound professionals encourage you to check out Electro-Voice ND microphones.

Reviews

Great mic
I have the grandpa to this, maybe great grandpa. Ha. Love both of them. The 76 is repacing an old sure screw on cable 575? Still works great but going wireless so dont need all that cable in the way. Anyway, nice clarity and presence. Good value.
Great affordable EV vocal mic
The ND76 turns out to be an excellent mic for my vocal partner who has a broad vocal range and a mighty belt! Good capture at all proximities and a low feedback threshold.
EV ND76
Great mic, and even better for the price. Don't know where the "entry level" assessments come from; this mic and its predecessor, the N/D 767a, are really fine stage mics. Balanced, clear, and very strong signal; great volume and gain before feedback; and very solid construction, pretty much bombproof. I prefer the EV 76/86/96 series to any other dynamic mics under $ on both male and female vocals.
Music background: Nearly six decades of full-and part-time musical composition, recording, and performance
Great Mic
12 years ago I was introduced to an EV ND767 by a fellow bandmate and I immediately ordered one and stopped using the mic I had been singing through for years. When the ND767 recently gave up the ghost, I ordered the replacement ND76. I like it as well as I did the 767 and it handles my voice clearly and dynamically without feedback.
Music background: 50 years local gigging keyboard player.
EV ND76 Microphone Reliable, Sturdy and Sounds Great
I've been using this microphone for over 12 years and it sounds fantastic. Crystal Clear without distortion and without feedback. You can try it at your local music store - you will walk out of the store with it in hand!
