The MIDI Mobilizer plugs right into the base of your iPod or iPhone, and it features familiar MIDI I/O ports, just on a smaller scale. To get your MIDI gear connected to MIDI Mobilizer, the system includes two 5', 5-pin Planet Waves MIDI cables. The heart of the system, though, is the free MIDI Memo app you can download from the App store. With this simple program, you can easily record and play MIDI data — and it's easy to find and recall all of your previous creations. Want to share something you just came up with? Just use your device's e-mail feature to e-mail the music as a Standard MIDI File (SMF) to yourself or your collaborators. And once you're back to your Mac or PC, you can easily open and edit the file in your favorite DAW.
