Built a smaller pedal board… rather than remove my original Micro Amp from my full size pedal board, I purchased a second one.

Love having the LED, the originals did not have.

Mr.Spunde was not only informative about the gear I purchased, which I thought was read from a generic description card, but proved his genuine knowledge by being an actual musician who has used some of the gear I was looking at. He gave insight on his own personal use of the products, why he liked them and set up info about the products. This really helped the overall experience.

This MXR pedal is just what I needed for one of the venues I play, where I don't necessarily want to drag my larger array and I just need a little boost with no distortion.

I needed something to boost the volume during solos while gigging. I briefly used a BOSS CS-2 Compressor and realized quickly that it was not built for simply boosting volume. I play an acoustic/electric guitar and this MXR pedal does the job just fine. I hear no coloration to tone, no breakup when dialed up, it just gets louder. Cheap, simple, works perfect.

I have had one of these great pedals on every pedal board I have used for the last 30 years! They boost your signal, but it doesn't color the sound in anyway. It is very quiet and has very little self generated noise. I use with all my single coil guitars! Best boost pedal on the market by far. Simple and straight forward no frills boost!
