The Best of the MuRF — and More!
Take your sound further with the Moogerfooger MIDI MuRF! Consider the filtering prowess of the popular MF-105 MuRF and the MF-105B Bass MuRF, and then imagine what it'd be like to make that filtering MIDI-syncable. What you're envisioning is just what the MIDI MuRF makes possible. With its MIDI input, all of the MIDI MuRF's knobs receive MIDI CCs, opening the doors to a whole new kind of sound. With it, you get warm, resonant Moog filtering - amazing modulation that fits perfectly into your MIDI productions and performances. The MIDI MuRF is a MuRF like none other!Moog Music MF-105M MIDI MuRF at a Glance:

The evolution of the MuRF
The evolution of the MuRF continues with the MF-105M MIDI MuRF. The MF-105M combines Bob Moog's classic MuRF and Bass MuRF to make one powerful Moogerfooger. Its warm, resonant, 100% analog Mid and Bass filter bands bring you everything from shimmering timbral morphing and rhythmic stuttering to deep bass grooves, and like all Moogerfoogers, it's built like a tank to stand up to the toughest touring and studio use. The heart of the MIDI MuRF is a bank of eight resonant bandpass filters tuned to fixed frequencies. The Animation module is a 24-Pattern sequencer triggering volume envelopes for the eight filters. The Freq Switch toggles between two banks of patterns, with 12 bass patterns and 12 mid-range patterns.
The Front Panel sports a Pattern rotary switch that selects one of 12 Animation Patterns in each bank. The Bass and Mids pattern banks are activated through the Freq slide switch, while the LFO slide switch applies LFO modulation to the patterns. Set the rate of the pattern with the Rate control, which also sets the Clock Divider value when you're syncing to a MIDI time clock. Sets the envelope shape of the patterns with the Envelope control. Drive adjusts the amount of gain of the audio input circuit, and output controls the output level. Lastly, the Mix control sets the proportion of direct to effected signal that appears at the output. All of these controls combine to give you nearly endless creative options.
Rear Panel and MIDI
The rear panel plays host to the usual suspects of analog I/O, with the addition of a MIDI in port. The audio input accepts any instrument-level or line-level signal. You can output the effected signal in either mono on the Left output or in stereo using both Left and Right outs. Rate, Mix, Envelope, and LFO/Sweep are TRS jacks that accept Moogerfooger EP-2 (or equivalent) expression pedals, or control voltages from two or three-circuit jacks. The tap tempo input accepts a normally open momentary footswitch for syncing the rate of Animation to the tempo of the music. The MIDI In implementation on the MIDI MuRF makes possible a powerful new set of synchronization and control features that respond to a variety of MIDI Messages:
