Great Pedal to Start off with

I purchase the Bass Blogger and I do enjoy it. I play bass for a small worship team. I change up between my Ibanez ATK Bass and Squier Bass VI, depending on the song selection. It's just enough dirt for the space that I play in. I usually keep it on drive, but I do enjoy the fuzz selection. Very Simple to use, again great starter pedal. If you want more punch I would suggest going for the Bass Muff, but if you want a touch of dirt this is a good pedal for it. I will probably give the Bass Muff ( I hear nothing but awesomeness about it) and/or Bass Soul Food a try once I play in a bigger setting. For now the EHX Bass Blogger does the job.

Great mild fuzz

this is great for adding a little bit of fuzz or overdrive whenever you want it. I also own a big muff which is my favourite pedal on my board but honestly can be a bit over the top. I would recommend using an eq after it though as it is a bit focussed on your midrange

Poor quality, poor sound

I didn't use this pedal much because I didn't like the tone much but it was a gift and I would occasionally take it out so I kept it. Unfortunately, it broke in just over a year with maybe three gigs and a few rehearsals worth of use. The pedal would not turn off, even with nothing in the input jack, until the battery died and would not switch off when using a power supply. I was told by EHX that the warranty had run out and it would cost $45 to repair, which is not worth what this pedal brings to the table.
