Speed lets you independently change tempo and pitch of audio, including complete mixes, without the degradation you get using other tools. You simply have to hear it to believe it, and they make that easy too with a trial download at their Web site. And don’t forget Speed is also included in the new Ultratools bundle.
The folks at Native Instruments have announced that the REAKTOR virtual instrument package and B4 new virtual Hammond organ, are now 100% compatible with Digital Performer, MOTU’s flagship audio editor and MIDI sequencing software for MacOS. Both products (now available for download at www.native-instruments.com) support FreeMIDI, MOTU’s industry standard MIDI routing/management system extension for Macintosh, and MAS (MOTU Audio System), the native hard disk recording engine that drives MOTU’s Digital Performer.
