MOTU has posted a free Version 2 upgrade to their MX4 multi-synth instrument plug-in. New features include the Pattern Gate for creating rhythmic textures, Arpeggiator, Pattern Sequencer, and Trigger Sequencer, in addition to hundreds of new presets. The instrument supports MAS, Audio Units, and RTAS, and is Tiger-compatible. Owners of Version 1 can download the upgrade for free! If you don’t own v1, you can still download v2 and enjoy a fuilly functioning MX4 for a 14-day trial period. Download here.
