Arturia has announced that version 2.0 of its hugely popular Analog Factory software is right around the corner. This will be a free update for all registered owners, featuring numerous improvements and bug fixes. Analog Factory will now include an astounding 3,500 sounds that include new presets from Arturia’s Jupiter-8V, improved effects management, and VST 2.4/Cubase 4 compatibility. In the bug-fix category, preset switching has been improved to avoid any problems while browsing presets and playing simultaneously, as well as improved loading time. Also, hanging notes have been eliminated when used within a sequencer and the preset database has been updated to avoid presets with same name and/or sound.
