Korg has just released the new KP3 Kaoss Pad Version 2.0, which offers a huge selection of user-requested features and also provides a number of additional improvements to its overall functionality. The KP3 was built on the KAOSS legacy with added capabilities and features. Now version 2.0 for the KP3 takes those features even further, providing greater flexibility in the areas of effects and sampling. The Version 2.0 package, which includes the version upgrade, a newly revised 2.0 Editor Librarian for Mac and PC and all instructional documents is available worldwide as a free download from Korg.
Korg also announced a new Radias update, a free download for registered users. This brings with it a number of new features to the synth, such as additional destinations for the Virtual Patch function, support for Korg’s Komponent system (which allows connection to the M3 sampling workstation), and Windows Vista and Intel Mac compatibility. Also available is a collection of sounds that have been created using the new features in the update.
