Our very good friends over at Synthogy have announced the release of the much-anticipated Ivory version 1.70 VST update for both Windows XP and Vista. With this update comes Ivory VST plug-in 1.70, Ivory Standalone host, a number of updated tools, and for the first time, support for PACE iLok authorization and 32-bit Windows Vista. TASCAM has announced that it has updated its best-selling US-122L, US-144, and US-1641 with new drivers and Steinberg’s latest workstation software, Cubase LE4. The 1.01 drivers now fully support Apple’s Mac OS X Leopard operating system, and improve performance at 88.2k and 96kHz sampling rates. The bundled Cubase LE4 software is built on Steinberg’s latest 32-bit audio engine, is compatible with plug-in synths and samplers, and now allows up to 64 audio tracks.
