NOTE: The FA-101 and FA-66 FireWire audio interfaces use Apple’s native drivers that are built into the Macintosh OS X platform including those in Leopard. Also, existing EDIROL MIDI Drivers were tested and found to be fully compatible with Mac OS 10.5.

Version 2.0 of the Edirol M-16DX operating system is also available now for download by registered owners. This update adds:

  • DAW controller function
  • The number of scenes has been increased from 8 to 16
  • There is a new Scene Edit function

Roland has also been busy updating its own branded equipment and has just released System Version 1.20 for the R-09 Field Recorder. This update adds the follow new features:

  • File Repair Function
  • Maximum File Size Function
  • Display Mode Settings

A Juno-G system update, version 1.06, is now available for all registered owners. This resolves a rare issue where the sound of the keyboard may cut out shortly when using the sustain pedal.

There is a new operating system available for the SP-404 Portable Sampler. This update corrects an issue where exported WAV files had an incorrect file length.

Roland’s VG-99 has a new system update, version 1.04, which adds new GK Pickup Type parameters, as well as several bug fixes. (Please note that this download contains two separate updates and you will need to select the proper update depending on the current operating system in your VG-99. Make sure that you go through the “readme” file included with the download for directions on selecting the proper update and then updating your VG.)

If you do not see your device listed, you can go to the Roland Support Page and scan for new drivers and other software updates.
