As you may have noticed in our Digidesign feature, Apple has at last released the much-anticipated Mac OSX 10.5.3 major bugfix update, which is available to registered users simply by going to Software Update under the Apple logo on the upper left side of the Menu bar. It can also be downloaded directly from Apple’s Web site if you prefer. This update is highly recommended for all Leopard users, and includes general operating system improvements that greatly enhance the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac. It also fixes a bunch of issues with USB devices. Bottom line: Grab this update if you’re a 10.5 user!
Apple has also announced that it has updated its popular Logic Express software to version 8.0.2. This update addresses some specific problems reported by customers, as well as certain compatibility issues with Logic Express 8.0. Registered users can download the upgrade from Apple’s Web site absolutely free.
