Kurzweil Music Systems has recently released a system upgrade for their PC3 Series instruments. The version 1.31 system upgrades comprise two components: the Operating System and Soundware Objects. To check which versions you currently have installed in your PC3, either power the unit on or press MASTER and the [About] soft key. At the bottom of your display screen, the current OS and Soundware Object revision numbers will be briefly displayed. If your unit displays something other than OS version 1.31.9872, then you should upgrade to the newest version. Kurzweil PC3 users should also be sure to have the latest version of the PC3 Series Musician’s Guide version 1.10 (dated 9/29/08). This 3.73MB download includes the most current version of the PC3 Series Musician’s Guide. Please reference this manual over any earlier-dated versions, including any hard copies that may have shipped with your unit. Supplemental materials include PCV3130 Series FX Chains (52KB) and PC3v131 New Setup Controllers (424KB). Be sure to read the release notes included with the latest OS update package, as they represent the most up-to-the-minute news on PC3 developments.
