The word is out: Roxio plans to begin shipping a brand new version of its best-selling CD and DVD burning software, Toast, on August 31st. According to Roxio, things that were “the hard way” are now the “easy, familiar Toast 7 way” – just drag, drop, burn. It’s an HD world out there, so you need software that’s HD ready!
This latest version of Toast allows users to burn large files across multiple discs as well as compress and copy DVD movies. Over 50 hours of music can be burned to an audio DVD with on-screen TV menus, shuffle play, and Dolby Digital sound.
Other key features include the ability to burn DivX files onto DVDs, as well as creating stunning multi-image HD slideshows with collages, motion effects, titles and even background soundtracks.
