The AMM1 is a single rack space device that can change the sound of most any microphone into a stunningly close approximation of the sound of any other microphone. Don’t believe it really works? Think again, and try it out because the results are amazing. No, it’s not going to make your SM-57 sound exactly like a U87, but if you start with a good mic it can get so close it’s scary. It comes with dozens of mic models loaded, and is easily upgradable via software downloads. Now you don’t have to pay a premium price for that vintage Telefunken, or rent that obscure C12 for one session.
