Q: I’ve started to have problems when logging onto websites with Safari. The buttons I usually click on to navigate have turned into boxes with question marks. They still work, as I know which ones I typically use, but it’s a pain when I go to a new site. Is this a Safari bug?
A: Most likely you have some corruption in your internet cache, but it’s nothing to worry about. From the Safari menu, select “Empty Cache.” A dialog box will ask if you really want to do this. Go ahead and click “Empty,” which will delete the stored images from the websites you normally visit. They will refresh the next time you go there, but be aware, it may take a little extra time since the cache will now have to start saving the site information all over again. You might take this opportunity to also verify or repair your boot drive’s disk permissions.
