Roland’s Top-of-the-Line 24-Track Workstation is Here!

Everyone knows Roland’s VS-Series was the original, all-in-one digital workstation. Starting with the original VS-8 and continuing with such ground-breaking multitracks as the very first 16-track workstation, the VS-1680, the company just continually added feature after feature to the point where today’s VS-2480DVD is as sophisticated as any computer-based recording solution. Didn’t know you could store up to 4.7GB of 24-bit/96kHz audio on a single recordable DVD? It’s actually not that surprising. Roland made the move from CDs to DVDs with relatively little fanfare, yet it’s quite a leap from 700MB to 4.7GB! Roland’s flagship multitrack workstation offers up 384 total virtual tracks, so you can record multiple takes without losing your original.

Its 64-channel digital mixer has motorized faders and VGA monitor support. You can record at up to 24-bit/96kHz resolution for mastering-grade results, or choose other resolutions for increased recording time. It’s also compatible with the new VS8F-3 Plug-In Effect Expansion Board. Up to four boards can be installed and each is capable of running two high-quality plug-ins from Roland, or optional 3rd party plug-ins from developers like Antares, Universal Audio, Massenburg, McDSP and more. This is without question the ultimate V-Studio for producers and songwriters alike! Best of all, it’s in stock now in our gigantic new climate-controlled warehouse at a down-to-earth Sweetwater price that includes free FedEx shipping!
