Rhythm

In music, the repetitive pattern of regular or irregular beats. Rhythm is one of the most basic components of music and dates further back in history than any other. Rhythm can be defined by (or define) a style of music such as a “samba rhythm”, “waltz rhythm”, etc. In various forms of music, the instruments that create the groove, or beat, are often described as the “rhythm section”.
