Real-time Stretching in Cubase

Not long ago, Cubase introduced real-time stretching algorithms, which meant that you no longer needed to go get a cup of coffee while your computer considered the stretch. Now it just happens right away. To turn on this particular option, go to Preferences>Editing>Audio. But keep in mind this places an additional CPU load on your computer, so if you’re not going to be using it, leave it set to off until you do find you need to time stretch a track.
