New in stock at Sweetwater Sound: Absolutely one of the coolest pieces of test gear we’ve seen, the Audio Toolbox from Terrasonde. It can test virtually any kind of cable, but that doesn’t even scratch the surface. It has all kinds of audio analysis tools including RTA, dB meter, RT60, polarity, function generator, and tons of other stuff all in a nice hand held package that’s software upgradable.
Not sure how useful this really is but Rane has a neat page on their Web site that explains the meaning behind a bunch of pro audio company names and initials. They even got the story on HHB correct (they must read inSync).
The winter NAMM show is going to take place in Los Angeles the first weekend in February. As usual Sweetwater will be there in full force.
