“Is there a way to instantly preview Programs on my Triton Studio from a drive before loading them?”
Yes, this is a really cool feature of the Triton. You can do it with an internal or external drive. Follow these steps:
1. Select the PRELOAD.PCG file. Press the Open button. Press
Program, and then press Open. Select any Bank 1A-D, and press Open.
2. Next, press any sound’s name and play the keyboard: You can preview any sound from any drive by pressing its file name before you load it into memory – versus loading an entire bank of Programs before hearing any sounds. This feature allows you to audition, and then load just the Programs you like.
