If you are the happy owner of a Virus TI, congratulations! It’s an update! Access has announced a new software release for the TI that is expected to be available during February. Besides improved stability, Version 1.0.9 will include two powerful new browser functions (“Sort By Category” and “Search by Name”) plus a new “Remote Mode” to turn the Virus TI into a universal MIDI control surface. The updated software contains improvents and bug fixes in the following areas:
- Upgraded version of TIOS
- Updated version of VirusControl
- Occasional “crackling” on odd parts has been fixed
- Possible cause for hanging notes has been fixed
- Patch sync in between VirusControl and TI hardware has been improved
