Yamaha has introduced two new digital audio workstations, the AW1600 and AW2400. The 16-track AW1600 has eight phantom-powered combo inputs, high-impedance guitar input, USB 2.0, 40GB hard drive, four aux outs, Pitch Fix, guitar and mastering effects, sample playback pads, and much more.< The AW2400 offers 24 tracks of simultaneous playback (each with eight virtual tracks), motorized 100-mm faders, eight phantom-powered XLR ins, eight 1/4″ ins, inserts on channels 1 and 2, four aux outs, Pitch Fix, USB 2.0, of course, and much more.
