The new space age looking RP-100 from Digitech is here. The RP-100 is a remarkably inexpensive, yet very powerful guitar processor. Designed with the footprint and basic interface of a floor “stomp box” it has a tremendous amount of power under the hood (including programmable patches), and it sounds great.
The folks at Native Instruments have released the 2.3.2 version of REAKTOR, the native synthesizer and sound design platform. It now supports MOTU’s Free MIDI and MAS, and can import Sound Designer II files and also works within Pro Tools (RTAS). The plug-in version now also works within Logic 4.2.2 or above. The download is free at their the Native Instruments website.
