As expected we had quite a few responses to our WFTD from 4/22/98, Theremin. It is amazing how many die hard fans of this instrument are out there. A few people gave me some Web addresses for some interesting Theremin sites that you may want to check out (1 | 2 | 3). One of them actually has a software Thermin emulation program you can download. I also leaned along the way that a Theremin was NOT used in the Beach Boys song Good Vibrations. This is apparently a very common misconception. The actual instrument was a Theremin-like device called a Tannerin, developed by Paul Tanner.
