inSync reader Adam C. points out that our TTOTD from 8/7 will not affect the fact that users of Digidesign’s Pro Tools hardware (regardless of the software front-end used with it) must use external SCSI drives for audio recording. As Adam correctly notes, Pro Tools hardware uses its own dedicated external SCSI bus for connected hard drives, and cannot access internally mounted Macintosh drives.
(The TTOTD in question stated that for audio work, users of newer dual SCSI bus Macs may be better off using an internal, rather than an external drive…)
