Our coverage of product announcements from the 2010 Winter NAMM tradeshow continues with five more great products:
Spectrasonics Omnisphere & Trilian — Both of these software packages have updates coming, bringing them to version 1.2. The new versions will include full cross-platform 64-bit support, a new browser “favorites” system, a new “Juicy” synth filter, a “sample file server” for 32-bit Mac OS X systems, triplet support for the arpeggiator, and many more enhancements.
Paul Reed Smith Guitars SEs — PRS introduced five new SE signature model guitars, developed with artists such as Orianthi, Zach Myers (Shinedown), Paul Allender (Cradle of Filth), MIke Akerfeldt (Opeth), and Nick Catanese (Black Label Society).
Arturia Analog Experience — The Analog Experience is a family of three software hardware bundles, each featuring the award-winning Analog Factory and a MIDI keyboard controller. Analog Experience The Player includes a 25-key controller, Analog Experience The Factory includes a 32-key controller, and Analog Experience The Laboratory includes a 49-key controller.
JDK Audio R22 — API’s JDK Audio sibling announced the R22 Compressor, a 2-channel rackmount unit with stereo linkable operation. The R22 uses true RMS power summing, a patented Thrust circuit for the lows, and easy control over parameters.
Ultimate Support MS MkII Series — These new monitor stands include an incredible array of features: adjustable angle and axis positioning, non-slip high-density decoupling pads for isolation, two internal cable channels, shot/sand channel, both spikes and rubber feet included, and more. Very nice!
