“When I try to monitor a record-enabled track from my audio recording software through the EZBus, I get an echo/delay effect. How do I fix this?”
The EZBUS Automatically monitors all its inputs (it sends inputs to its main outs), so when an audio track is in input mode and/or record enabled it’s sending the same signal back to the EZBus that is already available there, hence the echo effect. To prevent this, simply turn the volume on the record-enabled track all the way down. You’ll still hear your input directly through the EZBus, and your track will still record without hearing the echo. This is a great convenience because it helps avoid annoying latency issues with monitoring.
