A specific mode of operation for MIDI devices (see WFTD: MIDI Mode). Multi – short for multitimbral – Mode is an expanded version of MIDI Mode #3 (a.k.a. Omni off/Poly Mode). It sets a keyboard or module up to respond to several independent MIDI channels at once, with each being polyphonic.
