Mink DeVille Founder Passes

Willy DeVille, the founder, vocalist, and main songwriter for punk band Mink DeVille passed away from pancreatic cancer at the age of 58. MInk DeVille was an important contributor to the CBGB/Greenwich Village punk scene in the 1970s, with their blend of many styles of music. The band scored a Top 20 hit in the UK with the 1977 album Cabretta.
