A unit of measurement used to denote the electrical conductance of some material. It is the opposite of Ohm, which is used to denote the electrical resistance. This also explains why Mho is Ohm spelled backwards. The Mho is often associated with the transconductance [loosely defined: a measurement of the overall efficiency] of a vacuum tube.
