Marantz has announced details of its first SACD (Super Audio Compact Disc) player. They claim it will be a “no compromise” audio component and is expected to be priced accordingly.
Waves has introduced (and posted for download) a version of their Waveshell that will allow their native plug-ins to work in Digidesign’s RTAS environment. This brings all their great software to the Digi001 platform. They have also posted the Waveshell 2.8.1 update for TDM users.
