Moog Music officially announced that their much-anticipated Little Phatty is now shipping to authorized Moog dealers (like Sweetwater). Each Little Phatty is hand-built and boasts a 100% analog signal path with two ultra-stable oscillators, 100 user-editable presets, and a 37-note keyboard. Recognized as one of the Top 10 Hits at Musikmesse 2006 by Mix magazine, Little Phatty has one classic “Moog Ladder” low-pass filter, 4-stage envelope generators, and Real Analog Control (RAC), a proprietary technology that gives users direct access to the analog circuitry via the front panel knobs. This was Bob Moog’s last design and is a fitting tribute to the man who changed the music world forever!
