We’ve had a lot of people ask us if Trinity sequences will work on the new Korg Triton.
They don’t directly work, but most keyboards these days can save and load files as a SMF (Standard MIDI File). This means that most keyboards can play each other’s sequences just fine. The only difficulty is mapping the correct patches to the tracks or finding patches that work effectively. A part written specifically using the Trinity acoustic bass, for example, may not translate perfectly to the standard acoustic bass sound in a K2000. Sometimes minor tweaking to the performance or the sound program is necessary.
