JBL’s latest member of their versatile MPro Series speakers has arrived at our doors. The MP415 is a portable 15-inch, two-way speaker system delivering 350 watts in a multi-angle enclosure that supports main PA or stage-monitor applications. Like all speakers in the MPro line the MP415 is built solid, with JBL’s DuraFlex coated enclosures – one of the toughest finishes available for speakers.
Sweetwater’s tour with Digidesign will be rolling in to Cleveland next Tuesday (2/26). We’re bringing all the new Pro Tools HD hardware and have some demos ready that really reveal some significant sound quality improvements. Antares has announced new versions of Mic Modeler and Auto-Tune. The new 3.0 versions will both be compatible with the new HD Pro Tools hardware and support sampling up to 96 kHz. Auto-Tune will be available in late March, with Mic Modeler to follow about a month later. Upgrades will be $99 each, but users who purchased after December 15 will receive the upgrade at no charge.
