An iPhone in Your Future?

It seems that Digg.com founder, Kevin Rose, has a remarkable track record when it comes to predicting new Apple products. Now, Kevin’s claiming that an ultra-compact Apple iPhone will go on sale next month and that it will be available in both 4GB and 8GB configurations, with the 4GB model retailing at $249 and the 8GB version at $449. Rose, whose previous pre-Macworld Expo projections have been surprisingly accurate, claims that neither iPhone will be tied to a specific network. His “inside source” has told him that the upcoming iPhones will have two batteries, one for music playback, and another for the phone, so that listening to music all day won’t interfere with an iPhone owner’s ability to accept incoming calls. The 2007 Macworld Conference and Expo is set to run from January 10th through the 14th at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, so we won’t have too long to wait and see if Rose has gotten another one right.
