Since it’s wireless, the pok lets you work several feet away from your DAW. So let’s say you want to add a bass part to your recording. Just assign one footswitch and it will start the recording process with a simple touch from your choice of trendy footwear. If ever there was a “why didn’t somebody think of this sooner” product, it’s the pok. So now you can be eating a grilled cheese sandwich with one hand and playing a blazing synth solo with your other,a nd control the recording with your feet. It even works up on stage! This is a great product for self-recording artists, performers, and DJs. The included editor software lets you assign, edit, and add button functions to your liking, while function profiles can be stored to disk and recalled when needed. It ships with Pro Tools as its default, but it’s fully compatible with Mac- or PC-based DAWs like Logic, Digital Performer, Cubase, Ableton Live, Garage Band, and more to come!
